2022 brought an unprecedented increase of vile hatred against LGBTQ+ students and families: in the courts; local and national legislation; communities…and in classrooms.
The result of what is happening across the country is a devastating, coordinated effort from extremist politicians to harm children. The most isolated, the most marginalized, the most impacted part of the LGBTQ+ community – trans and nonbinary people, and kids especially—are being targeted through hostile and discriminatory policies.
