Dear John,

Almost every week for the last 20 years, the Migration Information Source has published insightful analysis and data about a wide range of migration developments that have touched virtually every corner of the globe.

Our articles have covered everything from changing migration, integration, and protection policies to spotlights on individual immigrant populations, country migration profiles, and fresh takes—most recently on acquired citizenships for World Cup athletes.

MPI publishes the Source because we believe the public benefits from thoughtful, even-handed, and accessible research and analysis about human movement around the planet. As one of the defining features of our age, migration is too important to be misunderstood.

As you make your Giving Tuesday and year-end giving decisions, will you support the Migration Information Source to ensure it continues as a free, engaging resource for future generations?

Since its inception 20 years ago, the Source has developed new ways to meet its audience, including most recently a podcast about climate change and migration. We also feature a library of special issues exploring all manner of evolving trends, a catalogue by country of all Source and MPI content, regular perspectives on U.S. immigration policy, and robust data about immigrants in the United States.

We’re exploring more innovative approaches to bring you useful resources and smart, essential analysis.

Will you help us as the Source moves into its third decade?

Best regards,

Julian Hattem
