Several months of severe drought and record-breaking temperatures — some places reaching over 120F — have created enormous bushfires across Australia.

Towns are being destroyed. People are dying. It’s estimated over 480,000 animals have been killed by the fires

The government has had to issue the largest military deployment since World War II. One official described the effects as an atomic bomb.

People in Australia have made it clear: this is not normal.

The true price we will pay for inaction regarding the climate crisis will be in human lives, not dollars.

We only have one shot at this. In 10 years, we’ll be at the point of no return.
