Here's everything you need to know about her.

Hi and happy Monday, friend.

BIG news coming out of Georgia - Kelly Loeffler was sworn in to fill the seat
of Sen. Johnny Isakson who stepped down last year due to health concerns.

Here’s everything you need to know about Kelly:

* She’s a political outsider. Kelly grew up pulling weeds on her family’s
corn and soybean farm in Illinois, then pursued a career in financial services.
* She’s conservative. When Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp appointed Kelly, she
called herself “pro-Second Amendment, pro-military, pro-Wall and pro-Trump.”
* She’s a woman, and she’s only the second in history to represent Georgia in
the U.S. Senate. The first woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate was from
Georgia, but she served only 24 hours, so Kelly wouldessentially be the Peach
State’s first female senator.
* She could be a symbol of what’s to come in 2020 - educated, professional
women in the suburbs largely voted blue in the 2018 elections, but as more
educated, professional conservative women like Kelly get elected across the
nation, we could see the suburbs trend back toward the Right.
We’re working to ensure that Kelly is one of many conservatives headed to
Congress this year. More on that later.

Talk soon,

Diane
