Hi John,
Did you see this message from Jamaal?
We hope you had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving. So many of you from across NY-16, and supporters from all over the country, stepped up to help Feeding Westchester during this holiday time — so thank you.
But our friends and neighbors in need can always use more support. If you haven't yet and you’re able to, please support the work of Feeding Westchester with a donation of any amount today.
Thank you, be sure to check out what Jamaal had to say, and have a great weekend!
In solidarity,
Team Bowman

Subject: Feeding Westchester
John,
This holiday season, I want to take a moment to uplift one of the strongest pillars of our progressive movement.
Mutual aid has been a deeply impactful tool of the working people, allowing each and every one of us an opportunity to directly support local organizations who are putting in the hard work day in and day out to support our communities. From food banks, and clothing drives, to student and senior support services — there are so many people who are responding to the call for help in our communities.
That's why we want to highlight the opportunity to join in on our mutual aid work by asking you to support Feeding Westchester, a local organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity in NY-16 through food drives and distribution efforts.
As we move deeper into the winter, many of our community members might be facing food insecurity, and with recent price inflations of basic needs and foods, we expect this demand to be even higher. Millions of families all across the country are being affected by hunger, housing insecurity, unemployment, and more.
Uplifting and supporting organizations like Feeding Westchester is just the first step in our collective work to build a stronger, more inclusive, more compassionate community for us all.
Thank you for being a part of this movement. And I hope you have a restful and joyous holiday season.
Peace and love,
Jamaal Bowman
