This year, I’m incredibly grateful for the young people across the country who are organizing in their communities and doing the work to move this country forward. We have faced so many challenges in 2022, and young people are meeting them all. Youth turnout helped change the course of the midterm elections. Young people are fighting back on abortion bans and helping people find abortion care when they need it. Youth activists are speaking out and walking out to protest transphobic and homophobic policies around the country. As President of Advocates for Youth, it’s my honor to work alongside them.

It’s clear that young people’s leadership and vision are essential to defeating the agenda of harm that so many politicians have committed to. Your donation helps provide training, resources, and support for youth leaders around the country as they organize and mobilize. Advocates youth leaders are:

Fighting abortion bans and providing travel and housing support to people who need abortion.
Working to ensure LGBTQ+ people are safe and welcomed in their communities.
Pushing for laws and policies to protect survivors of sexual assault on college campuses.
“I hope my story empowers others to speak up and speak out about the future of reproductive rights and continue to fight for body autonomy. I will never be afraid or be ashamed again and I refuse to let anyone ever make me feel that way again.”
