Tell the Department of Labor to stop job-killing regulations.
Hi Friend,
Small businesses are poised for blockbuster Small Business Saturday this year. More shoppers are expected to hit mom-and-pop shops on the Saturday after Thanksgiving than even on Black Friday according to surveys.

There are over 33 million small businesses in the U.S., 43% of which are owned by women.

Small businesses employ over 60 million employees and are mainstays in local communities — from coffee shops and restaurants to gyms and boutiques.

Americans would be surprised to learn that Washington is poised to enact regulations that will cut small businesses off by the knees.

The Biden Department of Labor has proposed new restrictions on independent contracting across the country. The DOL would replace a common-sense approach with a more stringent approach that would make it difficult for millions of independent contractors to retain their status.

This will leave independent workers financially devastated. Americans will be left with lost incomes, businesses, and livelihoods across hundreds of occupations: musicians, animal shelter consultants, photographers, babysitters, transcribers, writers, florists, event planners, seamstresses, psychic readers, and many more.
ACTION REQUEST:
Millions of workers need your support this Small Business Saturday. Tell the Biden Department of Labor NOT to crack down on independent workers. Our small businesses are too important.

As small business owners, independent contractors enjoy flexibility, freedom, and independence. Do your part to keep it this way. ([link removed])
