The Virginia General Assembly is up for grabs in the upcoming 2023 election, and there’s no room for error. Democrats currently hold the Senate by a razor-thin margin, and it’s that one seat you helped me flip from red to blue in 2019 when we unseated the Republican incumbent.
Radical Republicans across the Commonwealth see how close they are to having power in both Chambers, as well as the Governor’s office. And they have already announced the harmful legislation that they are prepared to introduce: total abortion bans and abortion bans regardless of rape or incest, censoring of books, efforts to privatize public education, and attacks on the LGBTQ+ community.
