Friend -

Researchers in Indiana found glyphosate, an herbicide commonly found in the weedkiller Roundup, in the urine of more than 99% of expecting mothers. Their alarming new study found that newborns of mothers with higher levels of glyphosate were more likely to be in a lower birth weight percentile and had higher NICU admissions rates.

This groundbreaking study builds on growing research that has linked glyphosate to birth defects, miscarriage and infertility in animal studies. Yet the EPA still allows more than 250 million pounds of glyphosate to be sprayed on American farmlands each year!

EWG has been raising the alarm about exposure to glyphosate in our food (even some packaged or organic!) for years, but we need your help to continue our work. Can you complete our quick survey to help us formulate our plans to fight against glyphosate? We need 5,389 of our top supporters to weigh in by midnight tonight.
