​The world is at a crossroads. Helga Zepp-LaRouche has called on presidents Trump, Putin and Xi Jinping to immediately hold a summit to prevent any escalation around the Iran crisis—to avoid “sleep-walking into global war.” For example, Iran recently completed a military exercise with Russia and China, so it's critical that the USA, China, and Russia come together to alleviate the situation, and not get drawn further into a conflict.

At the same time, the American population—especially the Trump base—must act to counter the anti-Russia and anti-China hysteria (including within Trump’s own cabinet) aimed at preventing Trump from realizing his stated intention of building friendly relations with both those great historic nations.
