GIVING CHALLENGE
Last chance to help unlock $10,000!

Giving Challenge Deadline: MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
Give Monthly
Dear Friend,

The Scarlet Tanager calls our forests home, but climate change is wreaking havoc on their habitats. As the places they need disappear, they become more vulnerable than ever. Tragically Scarlet Tanagers aren’t alone, as 389 North American bird species are on the brink of extinction. And since climate change is only expected to worsen over the next century, we can’t afford to wait and see what happens next.

Right this second, you have a special opportunity to defend birds and the places they need, thanks to a group of generous donors. But this giving challenge ends at midnight—and we don’t want you to miss out! We still need just 11 more donors to make a monthly gift and help unlock an additional $10,000 to sustain the birds we all cherish.

We’re in the midst of a bird emergency:
3 billion birds have vanished in less than a human lifetime.
Two-thirds of North American bird species are threatened with extinction due to climate change.
Birds like the Scarlet Tanager are losing vital forest habitat.

The good news? Audubon is built to tackle these big challenges—through a powerful combination of science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. We have a proven track record of working with federal and local decision-makers to achieve common-sense solutions to climate change. We strongly endorse renewable energy. We advocate for dramatically reducing carbon emissions, maintaining healthy forests, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

And continuing this vital work is only possible with your unwavering support.

Help unlock $10,000 more for birds right now with your monthly donation. This giving challenge expires at midnight, so don’t wait to amplify your impact.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
