THANK YOU to everyone who made our 2022 Annual Gala the success that it was! This past year was a tough one filled with several ups and downs, but we could not have done the amazing work we did together without y'all.
Congratulations again to our awardees, Alameda County Sheriff-Coroner-Elect Yesenia Sanchez (Barbara Lee Beacon of Hope Award), Assembly Member Alex Lee (Legislator of the Year), Allyssa Victory Villanueva (Kick-Ass Youth of the Year), the Latine Young Democrats of the East Bay (Organization of the Year), and Ruben Hernandez Story (EBYD Member of the Year).
A final thank you goes out to our gracious sponsors, our speakers, including Assembly Member-Elect Liz Ortega, and their representatives, the Moxy Hotel for hosting, BHK for catering, and DJ Charles Hawthorne for the beats!
Give it up one more time for our sponsors! Due to the generosity of these amazing groups and individuals, we met and surpassed our fundraising goal. Thank you for your support in helping young democrats fight for a more progressive East Bay.
As the year winds down and the new year begins, we always welcome more donations, but more importantly, new members! If you bought a ticket for our gala and are between the ages of 14-35, you received a one-year membership. We look forward to welcoming you to our club, so keep an eye out for future opportunities to get involved!
2023 BOARD ELECTIONS
Join us at our December general membership meeting! We will be holding our 2023 board elections and playing trivia. If you would like to run for a seat, you can apply online by December 9.
