John,

For the past few weeks, a public inquiry has been held into Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergencies Act to violently end the peaceful Freedom Convoy protest earlier this year.

After getting elected on promises of government transparency, this government is using every tool it can to keep its narrative intact and obstruct getting at the truth.

Hundreds of pages of redacted documents soaked in black ink.

Ministers and their staffers hiding behind “cabinet confidence” to dodge questions.

Minister of Justice David Lametti caused frustration on all sides when he refused to waive solicitor-client privilege to openly testify.

John, what are they hiding?

In a rare unredacted disclosed document, we got insight into text conversations between Lametti and Public Safety Minister, Marco Mendicino.

Just days into the Convoy, they discussed sending in the Canadian Armed Forces to deal with bouncy castles and hot tubs on the streets of Ottawa.

“How many tanks are you asking for?” Mendicino wrote.

John, I’m willing to believe this was a joke, as they claim.

But if this inquiry has done anything, it’s shown how much of a clown show Trudeau’s government is.

It’s also made it clear that Trudeau was completely unjustified in invoking the Emergency Act.

The legal argument is simple. For the Act to be invoked, there must be a national emergency which is defined as either:

- A situation that seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it; or

- A situation that seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada.

John, you don’t have to be a lawyer to realize that neither of these definitions apply to the Freedom Convoy.

Furthermore, no other stakeholders agreed that invoking the Act was necessary!

This all came down to Trudeau’s fragile ego.

He couldn’t stand being embarrassed any longer so he invoked the Emergencies Act to violently crush the largest peaceful protest in Canada’s history.

And now he doesn’t have any legal arguments to justify his actions, so he resorts to emotional arguments and gaslighting.

John, I can’t be gaslit. I was on the ground in Ottawa during the Freedom Convoy. I saw it with my own eyes.

We need to remove these liars and frauds from the House of Commons.

But I need your help to do it.

Please donate $5 today to help my mission to fill the House of Commons with real Canadian Patriots. <[link removed]>
