In the official election year, all Presidential campaigns are required to report fundraising data to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) every month, instead of every quarter.

Here at PFA, we see this as a major opportunity: by releasing our fundraising numbers three times as frequently, we have three times as many chances to show our grassroots support and demonstrate our viability as a campaign.

But, of course, this also presents a major challenge: because it means we can’t afford to come up short this month. We can’t wait for the end-of-quarter surge: we need to be bringing in consistent funds all month, every month.

In the New Year, we’re setting weekly goals. They’re smaller benchmarks we need to hit each week to make sure we’re on the right track to hit our monthly goals.
