Dear Friends,

Yesterday, as our family sat down for Thanksgiving dinner, I reflected on how grateful I am for you--the supporters and volunteers who make my service possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
From our family to yours, happy holidays.
You contributed, cared, and tolerated my emails. You knocked doors, spoke with friends who were undecided, and shared your views on social media. I am not sure I can ever adequately thank you--you have done more than I could have hoped for.

Instead, I will work to thank you by paying it forward: working to be as good as the support you have given me over the next four years.
Canvassers the last Sunday before the election in South Arlington.
Paying it forward means working with urgency on the many issues we campaigned on: [link removed] Issues like housing, fighting climate change, funding education, inclusive economic growth that benefits all of us, ending hunger, enacting common sense gun safety laws, protecting women's reproductive freedom, addressing systemic racism, and safe, sustainable mobility.

I'll discuss these priorities on Tuesday, December 20th at 4:30 when I will be sworn in for my second term on the County Board on the third floor of the Bozman Center at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard. By this email, I am inviting you to save the date and join me, in person or virtually. Brooke and I would be honored if you can make it.
