Friend –
In 2021, Virginia’s Supreme Court released the new maps for the Virginia Senate, House of Delegates, and Congressional Representatives. As we saw just a few weeks ago, new Congressional lines challenged several of our Democratic incumbents who had to work very hard to introduce themselves to new constituents and run in tougher districts.
In 2023, all 140 seats for Virginia’s General Assembly are up for reelection, and Senator Hashmi is running for reelection in a district that is considerably different from her current one. That means lots of outreach to voters who aren’t necessarily familiar with her.
Can you make a contribution of $25.00 today to help build our campaign fund for the upcoming election that will determine control of the Virginia Senate? [[link removed]]
With a new district comes new faces, families, and voters. We need to make sure that the message of Senator Hashmi’s campaign and the values of integrity and equity she’s fought for the past four years are shared with everyone in Virginia’s new Senate District 15.
Communications to voters cost money, and we need to raise at least $15,000 to get a field team that can compete with the misinformation and divisive actions of Republican operatives.
Can we count on you to contribute $25.00 to ensure that Senator Hashmi can continue to protect our values in the Virginia Senate? [[link removed]]
