Over the course of the last 18 months, EMET has had over 400 meetings on Capitol Hill tracking the Iranian progress toward a nuclear bomb and how the regime has used the meetings with the international community in Vienna and Doha as a smokescreen, behind which they have galloped toward the ability to reach nuclear breakout. The entire international community knows by now that Iran has increased its stockpile of highly enriched uranium enough to possess at least one nuclear bomb. In June of 2022, Iran turned off its surveillance cameras in 27 locations in its nuclear sites, and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s inspectors have been denied access. At this point, the IAEA’s inspectors have no way of verifying the exact size of Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium.
