Dear JOHN,

Today is a day to be thankful, and we have so much to be thankful for. We are blessed to live in the United States of America and live free. We are blessed to live in the beautiful Evergreen state surrounded by natural beauty anywhere you go. We are blessed to have a political process that allows we the people to have a voice in our futures. We are blessed to have an amazing Republican family here in Washington that truly cares about our state and country's future as well as one another. Through hardships, bonds are formed and joy can be realized.

As the pilgrims landed in America, hardships were all around - and yet it was through these hardships that brought the Native Americans and pilgrims together and established this holiday. This time of year, I am always reminded of Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances: for this is God's will for you in Jesus Christ." There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and through perserverance and faith, we may attain that light.

This year, I am especially thankful for all of you. Despite hardships both personally and professionally, we managed to accomplish so much here at the party and it was your support that made everything possible. I am thankful for all of your words of encouragement, faith, and unity despite any differences.

What I pray for is a return of common-sense governance that will protect our youth, let families thrive, and make our communities safe again. I pray for the health and flourishing of our great country. As American families face the most expensive Thanksgiving ever, because of inflation driven by Democrats' reckless spending, we think and act to care for those in need and we recommit our dedication in our mission to restore sanity to our government.

I pray that you have a wonderful thanksgiving with your family and friends full of joy. I hope you are blessed with the comfort of great company and great food to celebrate, and give thanks for, the blessings we enjoy every day.

Happy Thanksgiving!
