This year, I'm lucky to have a lot of things to be thankful for, and I wanted to share a few with you:

john:

Before over-stuffing our bellies with Thanksgiving dinner and pumpkin pie, one of our family traditions is to share with each other something we are particularly grateful for.

This year, I'm blessed with so many things to be thankful for, and I wanted to share a few with you:

I'm thankful for my family, and in particular for my husband, David, and son, Sam. Their love and support mean the world to me, and I'm grateful to have this special day to spend with them.

I'm thankful for this grassroots team. Everyone who volunteered, knocked doors, called friends, donated, or simply cast their vote in the midterm elections – thank you. You're the reason we beat the odds earlier this month and kept Washington's 8th District blue.

And I'm thankful to have the opportunity to continue serving the 8th District. It is the honor of my life to serve as your congresswoman, and I look forward to returning to D.C. to fight for the issues that matter most to you.

However you're celebrating Thanksgiving this year, I hope you'll join me in remembering all that we have to be grateful for.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving,

Kim
