Dear Friend —

Today, families across our city and country are gathering to celebrate Thanksgiving. This is my final Thanksgiving as Mayor, and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to serve an amazing community for the past eight years. 

I never imagined when I first took office that I would be leading our city through the challenges of the last few years. Together we've helped one another through the COVID-19 pandemic and are now on the road to a strong recovery. I want to thank every member of our community who has stepped up to bring us to this point today.

After what we have all worked together to achieve, I am more hopeful than ever for the future of our city. It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your mayor, and I am thankful for the opportunity to lead our city every day.
