Happy Thanksgiving! I’m writing to you from overseas, where I’m on a congressional delegation trip. “CODELs” as they’re called are a chance for Members of Congress to travel to other countries. The purpose of this trip is to honor our veterans and hear from active military members. I’m excited to spend my Thanksgiving serving dinner to service members who are stationed far from home.

I’m reflecting on all of the many things I have to be thankful for this year. I’m thankful for my family, especially my kids, who are awfully happy all of the campaign ads have stopped. And I’m so thankful for each and every Porter Supporter who helped us in so many different ways. As my former law professor Elizabeth Warren taught me, nobody gets elected alone.
