Giving thanks to God can be shown by doing good, being rich in good works, being generous,  and ready to share with others the blessings we have received from the One who loves us all.

"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
