Happy Thanksgiving John!

We have so much to be grateful for this year—and after my re-election earlier this November, one of the things that I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving is each of you.

Together, we have built a beautiful community, one that lends a helping hand in times of need and looks out for its neighbors. I’m grateful for the opportunities this community has given me, specially the support you’ve shown throughout my re-election campaign.

While I’m bummed the 49ers aren’t playing today, I’m thankful to be spending the day with my wife Mesha, our children Monique, Malcolm, Damani, and Dominic, and our grandchildren.

This Thanksgiving, please consider giving back to this community if you’re able. The holidays can be a very happy time, but also a challenging period for many of our fellow San Franciscans.

Thank you again so much for your support, it is one of the things I am most thankful for today! Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
