Dear Friend,
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that this message finds you safe, happy, and surrounded by the things you are most thankful for. Whether that is spending time with loved ones, enjoying our beautiful state, eating a meal, or simply relaxing—tis the season for gratitude and taking stock of the things we are thankful for.
Today, I am giving thanks for the incredible, humbling opportunity to serve our communities in Congress. It is a privilege to travel to every corner of this District and carry your hopes and dreams for the future with me to Congress. This week, I had the joyful reminder of why we do this work, when I toured the future Seligman Teen Center of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico. I connected with amazing young people who I know represent the best of New Mexico’s future and inspire me to keep doing the work that we do in Congress.
This season, I am grateful to spend Thanksgiving with my family and loved ones and appreciate the last golden leaves of Fall in New Mexico. I am looking forward to the month ahead and the wonderful holiday traditions that make New Mexico such a special place to call home.
Whatever it may be that makes this time of year special for you, I hope you are able to take some time to rest and enjoy. I am thankful to be a New Mexican, today and every day. Here’s to a weekend of gratitude and grace, and the start of a new season!
