Before we sit down to eat with August, Karl, and Gracie, we wanted to drop a quick note to say…Happy Thanksgiving to yinz + yours, John. ❤️
We’ve got so much to be grateful for this holiday season, and we can’t possibly fit it all into this email. But we’ll share three things at the top of our list.
First, the single biggest thing that our family is celebrating today is simply being safe, healthy, and whole. When John had his stroke, we were quickly reminded that we can’t take anything for granted. We’re so grateful for his recovery, and all the amazing medical professionals who took care of us back in May to make it possible.
Second, after two amazing but challenging years on the campaign trail, we’re grateful to be able to slow down as a family and enjoy the little things — like eating good food, playing with Levi + Artie, and just being together.
Third, John, we are out-of-this-world grateful for YOU. You + every single person who showed up at an event, chipped in, signed up to volunteer, or even just sent kind words of encouragement our way are the true power behind this people-powered effort that flipped Pennsylvania blue + ensured a Democratic Senate majority. We owe all of this to you — and for that we are so, so thankful. ❤️
