On Thanksgiving, we take time to think about all we are grateful for and the many blessings we have received.  And while we should do this every day, Thanksgiving Day gives us a little longer to reflect on and to share our gratitude with family and friends.  And that is why I want to be sure that you know how grateful I am for you.

I am so thankful for family, friends, and supporters, near and far, who have made possible the opportunity to serve our community and our country in the Congress of the United States.  And I am grateful to the people of Houston, who have entrusted me with the privilege of being their voice there.  It is the privilege of a lifetime, and I am grateful to you for helping make it possible.
 
What we have accomplished together reminds us of all we can accomplish when we work together, when we appreciate all we have and work to ensure that these blessings reach everyone in our communities and across our country.  The challenges we have faced remind us how important it is that we continue to do so.

It is with that in mind and deep gratitude in my heart that I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful day of Thanksgiving.
