As we reflect on everything we have to be thankful for this week, I wanted to reach out and express my gratitude for the support you have given me throughout this year’s election cycle. It was because of folks like you that we won a hard-fought victory on Election Day.

I know that many people are traveling, making last-minute grocery runs, and spending time with the most important people in their lives. But I am also thinking of those who are not able to spend the holidays with friends and family. As we reflect on everything we have to be thankful for, it is ever-important to consider ways to give back to our community so that others can share in the joys that we may have come to take for granted.

I am so thankful for everyone who has worked to demonstrate these values that make up our national fabric. The simple acts of kindness and generosity constantly remind me of what we’re working for: an economy that works for everyone and a political system that reflects the diversity that makes this country strong.

I know that whatever challenges we come across, we have never been more prepared to press forward and continue to make positive changes in people's lives, and for that, I am incredibly thankful.
