Dear John,

Today is a day when all eyes are on turkeys.

At Farm Sanctuary, rescued turkeys are seen for who they are: George loves to nest in the comfort of her barn. Roberto enjoys exploring. Galadriel loves to dust bathe. Sandy craves cuddles. Elsa flocks to her buddies’ sides.

These five individuals are ambassadors for the 68 million turkeys slaughtered annually during the holiday season. Turkeys trapped in our modern food system are raised in cramped conditions, lack care, and face slaughter at 14-18 weeks old.

The rescued turkeys at Farm Sanctuary are cherished members of our family — and together, we can help many more.

Will you help us celebrate them today? Symbolically adopt a turkey now.

When you adopt a turkey with a one-time $35 gift, you’ll support their daily care at Farm Sanctuary AND advance our rescue, education, and advocacy work to protect turkeys still in need. You can also adopt the whole flock for $150.

ADOPT A TURKEY

Sanctuary is a lifelong promise. Here, our feathered friends receive individualized care, from nourishing food and cozy bedding to lifesaving medication and treatment.

In gratitude, we’ll send you a print and/or digital certificate featuring photos and facts about your adopted turkey.

Do you …

  • Believe turkeys are beings who deserve compassion and freedom?
  • Object to the exploitation and abuse of turkeys in our modern food system?

If yes, please join our Adopt a Turkey Project by sponsoring a rescued turkey today.

This simple yet powerful act makes an important statement and helps acknowledge the lives of the estimated 68 million turkeys killed for the holidays alone.

If you’re moved by our rescued turkeys’ stories of survival and want to help others like them, adopt a turkey now. It’s never too late to choose compassion.

With our utmost thanks,

Farm Sanctuary
