Dear Friend,

Happy Thanksgiving! Each year, Thanksgiving is a time focused on gratitude for the good fortune in our lives, in our communities, and as a country. There is always something to be thankful for– especially on this special day.

I am thankful for our men and women in uniform at Picatinny Arsenal and across the country who keep our country safe. My thoughts are with military families and service members who may be spending this holiday away from their loved ones.

I appreciate the service of our veterans and being part of a community that feels so strongly about honoring them. Thank you to everyone, especially the students, who participated in my second annual Thanksgiving Thank Yous for Veterans program this year. Because of your efforts, my team and I were able to deliver over 6,800 thank yous this week.

I am also grateful for our community in NJ-11, from our healthcare professionals who tirelessly work to keep us healthy, to our small business owners who keep our mainstreets vibrant, to our educators who have tirelessly supported our children through difficult years, to the men and women in law enforcement who work day and night to keep us safe. So many of you find ways to care for our friends and neighbors in need, especially over the holidays, and it was a pleasure to join a few of these efforts this past weekend.

It has been an honor to serve the people of New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District for the past four years. I am humbled to serve you for another term and I look forward to continuing to work on your behalf in Washington to improve the quality of life for New Jerseyans.

Thanksgiving Thank Yous for Veterans

Thank you to all of the NJ-11 students and teachers who wrote Thanksgiving Thank Yous to veterans. New Jersey veterans have served this nation with bravery and honor across the world and across generations and I was proud to see us come together to make sure they know how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice.

My team and I delivered over 6,800 Thank Yous to veterans throughout NJ-11. We visited military and VA facilities, veteran service providers, VFWs and American Legions across the district to make sure that our veterans know how grateful our community is for their service and sacrifice. Helping Families in Need at the Essex County Thanksgiving Distribution Event

Each year, it is wonderful to see the NJ-11 community come together to help those in need on Thanksgiving. Thank you to Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo and the Board of County Commissioners for hosting a Thanksgiving food drive to distribute turkeys and food boxes to families in need.

A big thank you to the many organizations who have been collecting and distributing food items across the district as we kick off this holiday season. I am always inspired by the incredible generosity and dedication to caring for our neighbors we have here in NJ-11.

Attending the Montclair Bikery’s Annual Turkey Ride!

I had so much fun kicking off this year’s Montclair Bikery Turkey Ride! Wonderful to see all of the bikers and volunteers ride from the Bikery to the Brookdale ShopRite and back with their frozen turkeys for families in need! 🚴🦃
