One of my favorite things about this season is that it’s a time to come together to reflect on our blessings and give thanks for everything we have.

And I want you to know that we at Heifer International are grateful for your generosity and kindness every single day of the year.

John, your generosity shows you are a compassionate person who understands that by coming together and lending a hand up (and not a handout), we can stop the vicious cycle of hunger and poverty that persists generation after generation for the families we serve.

This work takes a village — and farmers in Rwanda harnessed the power of community to start a communal kitchen. Together, they provide nourishment, support and improve the livelihoods of children and community members — thanks to your support.

So today, as we gather around the Thanksgiving table, I want you to know that the entire Heifer family, from Bangladesh to Haiti to Little Rock, Arkansas, is giving thanks to you.
