Dear John:

Thank you for helping us to fiercely advocate for human rights in 2022. Today, we need your help now more than ever.  NNIRR, along with grassroots partners, worked hard to challenge and call attention to the systemic abuses and discrimination faced by migrants, refugees, and communities of color in the U.S. and, particularly, at the border.  As part of this work,  we led a participatory mapping for human rights initiative and released a Spotlight Report to shed light on systemic injustices and long-standing human rights violations deriving from immigration deterrence and militarization.

While our work this year isn’t over, we are excited for the new year and the powerful work that lies ahead!

In the tradition of BRIDGE, our landmark popular education initiative rooted in popular education and intersectional human rights, we are bringing together a broad cross-section of thought leaders and organizers to participate in the Grassroots Institutes for Human Rights! Our focus is to build transformative leadership skills amongst new generations of immigrant leaders and build a people-centered movement for human rights! Stay tuned.

Thank you for partnering with us on this journey.

On #GivingTuesday 2022, please support NNIRR.

We depend on grassroots donations to fuel our mission. There are several ways to give:

  • Give a one-time donation. Every contribution goes a long way.
  • Become a sustainer. Sign up for a monthly or quarterly donation: A gift of $5 or $10, or $50 a month helps sustain our work!
  • Double your impact! Gifts donated through Facebook on November 29th will be matched, and every dollar will go to NNIRR. Go here and click on our #GivingTuesday fundraiser to donate!
  • Enroll in workplace giving: Many employers will match your giving. Ask your HR representative if your workplace offers this option directly or through programs such as Benevity, Your Cause, Creating Healthier Communities, and others.
  • Share this email and our social media posts with your friends, family, and community.

We are so thankful for your past support and hope you will stand with NNIRR today with a year-end donation for our work for human rights.

With peace and solidarity this holiday season,

~ the NNIRR team.
