While Joe Biden dusts off his tried and true speech for the recent shooting in Colorado, swearing to pass an “assault weapons” ban, his lap dogs at the ATF are ready to take a major step in fulfilling his wish.



As we have talked about before, the ATF plans to announce their rule change regarding pistol braces before the end of the year, likely increasing their death grip on you and your rights.



If you own a braced firearm, you may immediately become a felon overnight if this rule change goes into effect, resulting in prison time, confiscation, and thousands of dollars in fines. 





That's why it's imperative to take action immediately! Contact your representatives and demand they oppose this treasonous rule change while there is still time.



STOP THE ATF RULE CHANGE! <[link removed]>



For the uninitiated, there are currently no regulations regarding pistol braces, allowing them to be placed on a firearm with less than a 16-inch barrel and still be classified as a pistol and not a short-barreled rifle or shotgun.



This allows those with disabilities (or anyone else) to use these firearms without the burdensome, asinine, and tyrannical rules established by the unconstitutional National Firearms Act (NFA) that regulate the lengths and dimensions of firearms that can be purchased without having to pay for a $200 tax to the feds.



We all know that the use of a brace or stock does not turn the firearm into a totally different one, but just makes it more comfortable and safer to operate. These regulations are just another way that the state exercises its monopoly of force over the people, by deeming what they can or can't have without permission and enforcing its rule with threats of violence.

By changing this rule and classifying those firearms with braces as short-barreled rifles and shotguns (SBRs & SBSs), the government could overnight deem the 10-40 million privately-owned pistol braces as an illegal modification if they are not registered and taxed. The ramifications of an action like this would be the single largest gun control measure enacted in recent memory, with millions of people instantly affected.



The administration is not talking about this because to them it is a done deal, and they believe that the less attention they bring to it, the less the chance is that it will be stopped. 



In this, they are right.



But we will not let them have it that easily.



There is still a chance to stop this rule change, but to do so we need everyone to take action and demand that their Senators and Reps oppose this.

There are legislative processes that would allow this rule change to be stopped, but only if enough of our representatives voice our concern and make it happen. Otherwise, come January, the firearm community and culture could be radically impacted.
