[1]U.S. Senator Chris Murphy

I’m reaching out again to ask you to support Rev. Raphael Warnock because the sooner we can get resources to his campaign the better chance he’s got to win this runoff. It’s even more true now with the early voting news out of Georgia this week.

If that’s all you need to hear, then please use this link to split a donation between Rev. Warnock’s campaign and my upcoming re-election. Otherwise, I hope you will give me a chance to explain why your support today is so urgent.

When the runoff started, Georgia election officials were saying there would be no Saturday voting. But Monday, a Georgia appeals court ruled that early voting could proceed this Saturday, and today, the Georgia Supreme Court denied Republicans’ last-ditch attempt to block it.

This is a huge win for democracy and will help Warnock get more people to the polls — especially students and workers. But they have to organize and get the word out ASAP, and there’s not much time to do that.

Whatever we can contribute right now will go directly to their efforts to turn out Georgians to vote early. This race is going to be close and every single vote will matter.

Winning this race truly matters. We absolutely need to keep the leader on Civil Rights and voting rights in the Senate. But also, there’s a BIG difference between 51 and 50. If we can get just one more seat, it means Democrats can have an outright majority on Senate committees – which right now are required to be evenly divided.

So please, if you can, split a donation of whatever you can afford between Rev. Warnock’s runoff and my campaign today. Republican super PACs are pouring money into Georgia, so your support is critical.

Thank you in advance for making a contribution if you can afford it.

Every best wish,

Chris Murphy
