Hi everyone,

After a busy year meeting voters across Colorado and getting things done in Washington, I’m truly grateful to be spending a quiet Thanksgiving with Susan and my girls. There’s only one thing between me and some much-needed relaxation this weekend: cooking the bird!

I’ve been in charge of the Bennet family turkey for years, and if you’re in need of a new twist on Thanksgiving dinner tonight/tomorrow , I encourage you to try my infamous turkey vindaloo recipe: [link removed]

It has become a Bennet-family tradition for me to prepare this twist on Madhur Jaffrey’s chicken vindaloo every Thanksgiving, and on the years I get it right (never guaranteed), it is fall-off-the-bone good.

You’ve already entrusted me to fight for your family in Washington; you won’t be disappointed if you entrust me with your Thanksgiving dinner, too!

All joking aside — My family and I can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done this past year. Whether you volunteered to talk with voters, chipped in a few hard-earned dollars, or entrusted me with your vote, thank you for standing with me. I am eternally grateful for the chance to be your voice in Washington.

And however you prepare your turkey or tofurkey tonight/tomorrow , I wish you a delicious meal and a joyful day with people you love.
