Happy Thanksgiving-eve, John!
Before tomorrow’s festivities kick off, I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks:
From the bottom of my heart, I am so thankful for every single person reading this message. You all – my supporters, friends, and fellow Vermonters – helped us make history with your kindness, words of affirmation, votes, volunteer time, and donations. The phrase “it takes a village” has a whole new meaning behind it now. You are the beating heart of this movement, and your support means everything to me. Thank you.
And of course, above all, I’m thankful for my family. My parents, my siblings and extended family members. And most of all, my spouse, Elizabeth Wohl, and to our two kids. We’ve always said to each other that running for Congress was a “Family Project” – and it really has been. The three of them have made great sacrifices to get me to this place. Team Balint-Wohl: You are always my rock and my refuge. One thousand thank you’s will never be enough.
As you prepare to gather around the Thanksgiving table tomorrow, please know that I am incredibly thankful for you, for the community we’ve built, and for all of the exciting things ahead.
Happy Thanksgiving!
-Becca Balint
