*Council on Climate Solutions meets Nov. 29*

*"Advisory body will discuss MI Healthy Climate Plan, Inflation Reduction Act"*

The Michigan Council on Climate Solutions will discuss implications of federal elections and the landscape around the federal Inflation Reduction Act at its upcoming public meeting, which also will feature brief remarks from council members regarding their work to implement the MI Healthy Climate Plan [ [link removed] ]. Also on the agenda is a presentation by Novi-based Our Next Energy [ [link removed] ].


* *When:* 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022.
* *Where:* A and B Conference Rooms, Constitution Hall, 525 W. Allegan St., Lansing, or online via Microsoft Teams.

* *Public participation: *The public is invited to email general comments to [email protected].

Fourteen state residents appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and representatives of several state departments make up the council, chaired by EGLE Director Liesl Clark. The council advises the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy?s (EGLE) Office of Climate and Energy [ [link removed] ] in implementing the MI Healthy Climate Plan, the governor?s action plan to protect public health, create clean energy jobs, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and transition toward statewide carbon neutrality.
