Thanksgiving is just one day away and there’s so much to be thankful for this year. But this is also a critical time for local food banks in communities across Illinois. Food banks have played an essential role in supporting families throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now it’s time for us to step up and offer support back. I have selected six different food banks serving different parts of our state that need our support to help feed families in need this holiday season.

Your donation will be split among the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Midwest Food Bank, Operation Food Search, Northeast Community Fund, the Central Illinois Food Bank, and the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
