Earlier this week we told you about Abby and Emma, two turkeys who were born into suffering. Birds like Abby and Emma suffer for one reason only - because the animal agriculture industry makes a profit through their exploitation.

While we cannot turn our backs on their suffering, for Thanksgiving - or ThanksLIVING as we like to call it - we want to share with you the story of a special turkey called Gracie.
Gracie is one of the few lucky ones. While she was bred to grow abnormally large for meat production and had part of her beak and toes cut off, Gracie escaped the cruel fate that Abby and Emma faced and now calls Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary home.

At the sanctuary, Gracie only knows love and kindness. She is fed a special diet to prevent further growth and to keep her healthy as long as possible. She gets to lay, and keep, her eggs and spend her days with her companion, Thomas. She gets to scratch in the dirt, dust bathe, and eat bugs, and she greets visitors with her gobbling and loves getting petted by children. Our wish this Thanksgiving is that all animals get to live the life Gracie does.

How do we make a world for turkeys - and other animals - like the one Gracie enjoys at the sanctuary? Each of us has the power to stand up against the animal agriculture industry by choosing to leave animals off our plate. For more information about choosing a vegan diet, visit TryVeg.com.

Thank you so much for standing by our side as we fight for a better tomorrow for all animals. Your donations, actions, and support are truly appreciated.
