Dear John,
The past year, and especially the past few months, have been nothing short of incredible. From enabling young lawmakers to be collaborative and effective leaders, to busting the myth of young people as either apathetic or politically extreme, the ripple effects of MAP's mission are showing up in critical ways across our democracy.
This election, we saw young people participate in record numbers - as voters and as candidates. It's more clear than ever: Millennials and Gen Zers will have a significant impact on the future of our democracy.
At the Millennial Action Project, we’re thankful for the members of our Future Caucus Network who are writing that future by uniting against a culture of partisanship and solving real problems. Their hard work is leading to solutions to strengthen our democracy, build energy resiliency, and pursue equitable justice.
We’re also especially grateful for you. Building a more functional democracy takes all of us, and we can’t take for granted all of the ways we each have a role to play. Your continued support is helping to build the community our country needs to bridge the partisan divide and transform American politics. So today, and every day, thank you.
On behalf of MAP, I wish you a joyous and safe Thanksgiving.
In gratitude,
