ABOUT THE FACT COALITION

The Financial Accountability and Corporate Transparency (FACT) Coalition is a non-partisan alliance of more than 100 state, national, and international organizations in the United States working toward a fair tax system that addresses the challenges of a global economy and promoting policies to combat the harmful impacts of corrupt financial practices. 

The coalition is currently focused on two main campaigns: 1) ending the use of anonymous shell companies as vehicles for illicit activity, and 2) requiring greater transparency from multinational corporations to promote informed tax policy.

POSITION SUMMARY

The FACT Coalition is seeking an Advocacy Coordinator. The full-time position is based in Washington, D.C. The Advocacy Coordinator will chiefly work with the coalition’s Executive Director — as well as with coalition members — to help formulate and implement campaign strategies and tactics to achieve the FACT Coalition’s advocacy objectives.

Candidates need to be flexible and comfortable working in various environments: independently, on a small central team, and with a larger team of coalition partners and allies.  They should have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.  They should be able to take initiative and have excellent writing and public speaking skills.
