Dear John,
Last week, Freedom House President Michael Abramowitz joined the George W. Bush Institute and the National Endowment for Democracy for a conference focused on the global struggle for freedom.
He moderated a panel featuring activists from different parts of the globe, each working on different crises, and underscoring the need for support from the democratic world.
There are countless people around the world who are still willing to make sacrifices to secure their basic freedoms. All they want is our solidarity and support. It is time to provide it.

|
The 22nd World Cup kicked off earlier this week in Qatar.
