Dear John,

Last week, Freedom House President Michael Abramowitz joined the George W. Bush Institute and the National Endowment for Democracy for a conference focused on the global struggle for freedom. 

He moderated a panel featuring activists from different parts of the globe, each working on different crises, and underscoring the need for support from the democratic world. 

There are countless people around the world who are still willing to make sacrifices to secure their basic freedoms. All they want is our solidarity and support. It is time to provide it.

2023 Mark Palmer Prize Nominations
Freedom House is soliciting nominations for the 2023 Mark Palmer Prize, which recognizes exceptional achievements to protect and advance democracy by diplomats and officials serving in intergovernmental institutions. Nominations must be submitted by December 31, 2022.
