P.S. Identity assists thousands of youth and families living in high-poverty areas of Montgomery County, Maryland.  We work with them at school, in the community, and on the playing fields to improve social-emotional skills and connection, achieve academic success, and prepare for work.  And they do. For instance, 93% of Identity’s elementary readers received a grade C or higher, 64% of high school Wellness Center students are more connected to their school and 65% of Youth Opportunity Center participants who dropped out of school were reconnected to school or our GED program.
