The Election Year is now truly upon us...it's getting interesting, gang!
President Donald Trump ordered the US military to target Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani,
that nation's second most powerful individual and perhaps the world's leading terrorist.
Our military was successful in its mission. As fallout from that mission, several
things have occurred:
*Iran has withdrawn from the Obama-era nuclear agreement, which was by most accounts
weak and worthless, and from which Pres. Trump had already withdrawn America. This
showed the true worthlessness of the agreement; and
*Iraq is contemplating throwing US out of Iraq, which is possible only because Pres.
Obama and SecState Clinton failed to negotiate a Status of Forces Agreement after
the military achievements of the George W. Bush Administration; and
*Democrats are claiming the strike against Soleimani was unlawful, despite the clear
authorization inherent in the War Powers Act; and
*"The Squad" is characterizing the strike against Soleimani as a racist attack,
despite the fact that Soleimani is an ethnic Aryan (as are all Iranis); and
*President Trump has managed to cause the Democrats in general to align themselves
with Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas and against US interests and allies, including Israel
and others.
Not bad for a slow news weekend coming back from a vacation!!
