Folks, 

I didn't want to have to write this email. We have lost our hard won House majority and it's difficult to grapple with what that means for our democracy and our civil liberties. 

However, as scary as it is, this is no time to give up. Democrats way out-performed expectations this year, putting up the best midterm performance for the President's party in 20 years. Republicans were expecting a far bigger win, but they didn't get it—because Americans are clearly not buying into their extremist agenda. So we need to keep up this fight.

It's time to start playing offense. We have too much on the line to continue playing nice with a party whose agenda threatens our livelihood. 

Our fight for 2024 starts now. Two years of Kevin McCarthy’s leadership will do great damage to our democracy, but we cannot stop fighting for reproductive rights, racial justice, LGBTQ rights, and fair wages for every working family.
