John -- I can't begin to express my gratitude for the hard work poll workers put into the midterm election. One thing was evident in our volunteer recruitment process: Democracy was on the ballot.

During this election, our volunteers felt like everything was on the line. Months ago, election experts began to raise concerns about what they viewed as a significant danger to a smooth voting process in the fall: a lack of poll workers.

Chip in a few bucks today to support All On The Line democracy-saving programs like poll worker recruitment. [[link removed]]

All On The Line responded by organizing volunteers to help with election administration by becoming poll workers in the months leading up to the election.

President Obama summarized how the role of poll workers was essential to fair elections and helped power volunteer sign up significantly: "Poll workers help make sure voters can cast their ballots and elections are administered freely and fairly."

Our partner, Power The Polls, highlighted areas with significant need for poll workers in states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia throughout the recruiting process. We utilized that information to mobilize our supporters in those states, and the reaction from our volunteers was overwhelmingly positive.

Nearly 4,000 individuals joined our efforts as poll workers to strengthen our election infrastructure so that voters around the nation could participate in a fair election and vote for the candidate who best represented them.

The midterm election proved our democracy-saving programming is making a difference. There is still work to be done. Will you chip in today to keep All on the Line’s democracy protection programming alive? [[link removed]]

Again, I am grateful to all volunteers who did not stand by and allow democracy to fail. We have the necessary tools to move our country forward. Our volunteers showed up time and time again. I hope that this shows all of us, together, with a strong democracy, a better tomorrow is possible.

In gratitude,
Ted Corcoran
Organizing Director
