I am continued to be blown away by the outpouring of support that you all have shown before, on, and after election day. I am honored to be your Representative-Elect in Pennsylvania’s 30th District.
As I reflect ahead of Thanksgiving, I have so much to be thankful for. I’ve spent the last few weeks going through representative bootcamp, beginning the search for my office staff, and waiting for the results of a few elections that will decide control of the State House.
As I write this, it looks like Democrats will have a razor thin majority in the State House next year, but first we have to win all three Allegheny County special elections next year. Once we do, so much of the good work I ran to do will become even more possible.
I am thankful for this opportunity, but those special elections will be hard fought and expensive - and I am committed to supporting the majority next year, so we can get down to the work we were elected to do.
