David has introduced legislation to bar Donald Trump from public office for his role in the January 6th insurrection!
The 14th Amendment reads:
“No person shall … hold any office, civil or military, under the United States … who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”
Trump's role in January 6th — engaging in insurrection with the intent of overturning lawful election results — should disqualify him from holding public office again under this section of the Constitution. David is leading the charge in Congress to make sure the 14th Amendment is enforced. Will you add your name in support?
