Disabled people play a critical role in every conversation about our civil rights. We demand the freedom to make our own choices, and to be who we are, all of the time. That’s why tonight at 7 PM Eastern, we’re hosting “Our Rights Under Threat: Reproductive Justice and LGBTQ+ Advocacy.”
This panel highlights the overlapping attacks on reproductive and LGBTQIA+ rights that occurred in 2022, and how our community can fight back. Want to learn how to share your story to impact change, how to build a coalition, and how to make change nationally and locally? Tune in!
The event will be held live on Zoom, but will also be streamed to YouTube. The panel will remain on our YouTube channel after the event.

It’s not too late to register—and remember, your registration is good for all the events this month! We ask that our gala attendees donate if they are able, but no donation will be required to attend our virtual gala events. Proceeds will support our advocacy work and programs for the coming year, and allow us to continue working to empower disabled people across the country.

Our 2022 virtual gala draws to a close next week on Giving Tuesday, with a livestream featuring ASAN staff! We’ll be going live online Tuesday, November 29th at 7:00 PM ET and we hope you’ll join us. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving where nonprofits of all sizes ask folks to donate and support their causes as a part of the holiday season. During our staff livestream, we’ll be talking about all the work your help has made possible over the last year as we answer your questions in this live chat. We’ll also be looking ahead to our plans for 2023 as this year winds to a close.
ASAN is a small organization with a big mission: empowering autistic people throughout the country and giving our community the tools to stand up to those who want to silence us. This year, we’ve held the line against attacks on our rights, developed accessible tool kits on crucial subjects, made headway in the inclusion of autistic people in research about us, and so much more.
This work is made possible by the support of our donors, who enable us to fight for our community. This year, consider making a #GivingTuesday donation to ASAN to help empower self-advocacy and the autistic community. Can we count on your support?
Save the date and join us on November 29th! We’re so grateful for your support and for your spirit of giving.
