We have no time to waste, John: The Georgia runoff for Senate is just two weeks away — and early voting will be in full swing in a matter of days! 🚨 Before we dive into the details, we have to ask: can you make a contribution of $4 to help WFP get out the vote in Georgia for Senator Raphael Warnock?

If this timeline seems faster to you than the 2020 runoff, you’re right. After we won the runoffs in 2020, Republicans changed Georgia’s election laws to shorten the time between a general election and any runoff election to a mere four weeks.

Republicans also introduced more barriers to voting. Because of state laws requiring new voters to register at least 30 days before an election, no new voters are able to register ahead of the runoff.

And they reduced early voting and even tried to ban it on the Saturday after Thanksgiving because they said it came after a “state holiday” on Friday — a holiday that happens to honor Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

With all of these Republican attempts to suppress the vote, and with the runoff just two weeks away, we don’t have a minute to waste. WFP organizers are already on the ground in Georgia, contacting the voters we know we need to mobilize before December 6th in order to re-elect Raphael Warnock and deliver a critical 51-49 majority for Democrats in the Senate.

Will you make a contribution of $4 and help us overcome Republican attempts to suppress the vote and re-elect Senator Raphael Warnock?

In solidarity,

Working Families Party
