The 2022 midterm elections are now behind us. The promised Republican "red wave" never materialized. Instead, we have a very narrow majority in the House, and Joe Biden and the radical, anti-American Democrats will maintain control of the Senate. To put it plainly: the GOP Establishment failed us.
Despite the disappointing results, Republicans in Florida and New York offered us a glimmer of hope. Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio crushed their Democrat opponents, and the tremendous gubernatorial campaign of former Representative Lee Zeldin led to the GOP flipping several House seats in deep blue New York. Without Zeldin, Republicans might not have even taken back the House.
Here at Townhall, we are dedicated to reporting the truth about the 2022 midterms, looking for answers about what went wrong, and holding the GOP establishment accountable for its enormous and numerous failures.
Even more so, we are determined to expose Joe Biden's and the Democrats' radical agenda that is destroying our great country. Americans' budgets are being stretched by soaring inflation and energy prices, violent crime is spiraling out of control as repeat offenders are let loose, and our Southern border is being overwhelmed. And yet, Joe Biden has said he will double down on his disastrous policies.
